Hi love, I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m Kim, Holistic Health Coach, and passionate about helping women transform their lives through nutrition and lifestyle.

Personally, I was clueless about my hormones and monthly cycle until issues in my twenties forced me to investigate the problem.

After two rough appendicitis surgeries in 2016, I lost 20 pounds and decided to quit the hormonal birth control pill. It felt like the right thing to do after 12 years, but in hindsight the timing wasn’t the best. I didn’t know I had to prepare my body to come off the pill and after everything that had happened my health wasn’t optimal..

It took me 2,5 years to regain regular periods and acne was a daily problem along the way (in my late twenties for goodness sake!). During those years the path forward was not clear to me. I had visited multiple specialists and was told that I didn’t seem to have PCOS (I had no clue what that meant at the time) and simply had to wait. After nine months I finally got a period but it turned out to be an anomaly: no periods for another nine months!

Honestly, I did not feel understood by my specialists at all, and all I could think was: What the hell is wrong with me? Did something happen with my reproductive organs during my surgeries? Will I ever get my period back? Is my fertility affected by this?

In the meantime I had moved to New York City and I had found the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I desperately wanted to understand my own issues (and fix them!), and decided to enroll in their holistic health coaching program.

During the program, I experimented with different eating styles, learned everything I could about my menstrual cycle and hormones, specialized in gut health, and I came to understand that the surgeries, medications and weight loss had led to gut and hormonal issues.

Fast forward, through consuming real, nutrient-dense foods and making holistic lifestyle changes, I was able to clear my skin and get regular cycles again. Initially with PMS symptoms (mood swings, and sore breasts), but after further fine-tuning my diet, these symptoms also disappeared.

If I had known sooner how much diet and lifestyle affect our health and hormones, this process would’ve probably been shorter, but hey, here we are! I’m now able to help you prevent wasting years of trial and error and start feeling your best self like you deserve!
